Coffee mornings
The Uniting Church was formed from the coming together
of the Whaley Bridge Methodist and United Reformed
churches in 1983, the word Uniting being deliberately
chosen to represent on-going growth of shared Christian
faith and outreach into the community. In 2004 we were
joined by a small group of Baptist Church members and the
congregation now contains people from a variety of church
denominations and none of these. In 2019 we joined the
three local Methodist Circuits to form the High Peak
Partnership of Churches.
